This year, in honor of the 100th anniversary of women winning their fight for the right to vote, the League of Women Voters in Fresno, California asked my permission for my book, “Elizabeth Started All the Trouble ” to be made into a play. Gina Sand-Diaz, Assistant Professor of Theatre and Dance at California State University in Fresno, did a glorious job in translating my narrative and adding additional material to create a play performed by her students at the Fresno Fringe Festival.
